L'ultime Bagheera, la U8 n'a jamais été commercialisée. Le principe était de mettre 2 moteurs l'un à côté de l'autre et de les joindre par chaines. D'où le nom U8 car ce 8 cylindres était en fait un double 4 cylindre. En fait, ils auraient mieux fait de developper un vrai V6.

The result was a marvelous car. She grew from 3.97 m long to 4.14 m, but the maximum speed reached now 236 km/h. Sadly, the petrol restriction killed this supercar who drank 28 liters for 100 Km and who wasn´t ever produced. (Only 3 prototypes are said to have been built, 1 is in the Romorantin museum but where are the two other?)
The ultimate Bagheera, the U8 was never put in production. In order to achieve a bigger engine size, the principle was to put a serie 1 motor next to another one and to join them by chains. Hence the name, U8, as this 8 cylinders was in fact two 4 cylinders. Actually, they'd better built a real engine (V6 for instance)

Le résultat était une superbe voiture. Elle s'était alongée de 3m97 à 4m14 mais sa vitesse maximum était passée à 236 km/h. Malheureusement, la crise pétrolière tua dans l'oeuf ce prototype qui buvait ses 28 litres au 100 (Bizare, avec le demi moteur j'arrive à 6l au 100 ) Seuls 3 prototypes ont été construits. L'un est dans le musée de Romorantin. Si vous connaissez le sort des autres écrivez moi !
Ultima Bagheera, la U8 non è stata mai commercializzata. Il principio era quello di mettere 2 motori uno a fianco all'altro e di congiungerli tramite trasmissione a catena. Da cui il nome U8, visto che questo 8 cilindri non era infine che un doppio 4 cilindri. In effetti avrebbero fatto meglio a sviluppare un vero V6.

Sfortunatamente, la crisi petrolifera ammazzò sul nascere questo prototipo che beveva pur sempre 28 litri di benzina per 100 Km (Strano, con il mezzo motore io arrivo a 6L per 100).
