Après l'abandon de l'U8, la S qui apparu durant l'été 75 était pleine d'améliorations. Avec son moteur de 1440 cc, elle était également plus performante que le modèle standard.

Les vitres électriques étaient une autre amélioration. (Immaginez le conducteur voulant ouvrir la vitre passager sans cela !)

La fausse sortie d'air sur le capot est a présent noire comme les 2 oreilles (derrière les vitres arrières).

Les sièges sont recouvert de tweed comme les modèles ultérieurs.

I vetri elettrici erano un'altra miglioria (Immaginate il guidatore mentre apre il vetro del passeggero senza questo meccanismo!).

La falsa presa d'aria sul cofano è ora nera, come le 2 feritoie (dietro ai vetri posteriori).
