Various prototypes were built before the final serie 1 was born. (The first Bagheera was still a kind of proto with a lot of gear selection problems)
The final shape is here tested for aerodynamics in water. The very good aerodynamics allows a reasonable speed.
It's true that your speed drops if you put the lights on.
We escaped various stranges forms of the left proposals. In each one we´ll find elements of the final shape.
If those were used, I wouldn't have a Bagheera now
This wire study allowed to find the good shape with high confort and capacity. With iron wires, the good dimension was chosen, leaving the driver with marvelous confor. It's difficult to believe that the car was built around the driver
The first wooden proto still differs by the rear lenses and by the smaller fake aeration on the bonnet.
Those other prototypes are closer to the real thing, and the last one still drives. (up & left). Does anybody know is current destination ?
Of course this proto is a non driver. The glass are not even transparent. Do you know the meaning of B after 550 ???
Plusieurs protos ont existé avant la série 1. (La première Bagheera reste pour moi un prototype avec tout ses problèmes de sélection de vitesses.)
La forme finale est testée dans l'eau. L'excellente aérodynamique permet une bonne vitesse de pointe.
On constate une baisse de la vitesse de pointe quand on allume les phares.
Nous avons échappé aux formes étranges des ces propositions dont on retrouve des élements de la forme finale.
Si telle avait été le résultat, je n'aurais pas de Bagheera a présent.
Cette étude permi de trouver le compromis entre forme, confort et habitabilité. Avec ces fils de fer, la bonne dimension fut choisie, donnant le confort absolu. Il est difficile de croire que la voiture fut construite autour des passagers.
Bien sur, ce proto n'est pas roulant. Les vitres ne sont pas transparentes Qui sait pourquoi un B apres 550 sur la plaque ???
Cette premiere maquette en bois differe par les phares arrieres et le traitement du nez.
Ces 2 derniers prototypes sont proches de la realite. Le dernier est meme roulant. (Haut & gauche). Qui connait leur destination actuelle ?
